hat Mark Kermode fella dug (out now, Blu-ray/download), but we weren’t quite so impressed. A man takes a job as a shepherd on a (7 March, Blu-ray); this 2003 horror-comedy sees two buddies pursued through hillbilly country by a Leatherface type in a -y monster truck. We said: “Endearingly juvenile… As cheapo six-pack-and-a-pizza horror movies go, it’s a revved-up, gas-guzzling triumph.” Extras include writer/cast commentary and an animated short. Norman Bridwell’s children’s book creation makes its big-screen debut in (14 March, Blu-ray/DVD). In this silly romp, the titular titanic puppy bounces around Manhattan making friends, eluding cops and peeing on trees like a fire hose at full flow. We said: “It’s twee, and there are too many fart/slobber gags, but the human cast are just perky enough to flog this dog.” Finally, a few UHD releases. The 4K of second-rate John Carpenter sequel (out now) is a limited edition featuring two stickers, five art cards and a double-sided poster; Dario Argento’s (28 February) comes with six art cards, a booklet and a double-sided poster; Stephen King movie (7 March) gets the same again.
