The gift of flight

Matthew Jones loved nature. “It was in his DNA,” his wife, Nathaly, tells The Weekly. As a kid, he would run down to the bush after school, go camping on weekends, find lizards and snakes and bring them home to show his very patient parents. “He had a connection with nature. He was pretty wild at heart.”

Matt grew up to become an ecologist. For 20 years he was a National Parks ranger. He and Nathaly met when they worked together
