Golden ratio

Farmers spending less than 34 per cent of their farm income on buying and running their machinery tend to be investing efficiently, according to a new benchmark set by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC).

The benchmarking formula was one of the results of a two-year project initiated by the GRDC – the development of a comprehensive investment guide for Australian grain growers.
