IT HAS BEEN a bit of a mixed start to the 2022 breeding season. Traditionally, I start with the Gouldians as I feel they need to be out of the blocks early to get them through the moult in a timely manner. Things looked good at first, with three pairs clearly showing the signs they were ready. I paired them up, leaving the others to catch up in the holding cage.
