Champagne Christian Briard – Cuvée Rubis – Brut

The nose is fruity, fresh and dynamic. It reveals notes of fresh pear, fresh raspberry and small notes of lemon associated with hints of citrus fruits, zest, rose and a very discreet hint of lychee. The palate is fruity, beautifully fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful suavity as well as a beautiful juiciness of the fruit. The effervescence is fine and offers elegance as well as dynamism. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh cassis and small notes of fresh lemon associated with small touches of fresh pear as well as discreet hints of fresh mandarin, a subtle hint of white flowers and an imperceptible hint of brioche (in the background). Good length.

Champagne Houssart – Brut Rosé

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine creaminess. It reveals notes of raspberry sorbet, fleshy strawberry and small notes of fleshy peach associated with subtle lemon hints as well as an imperceptible brioche hint. The palate is fruity, gourmande, juicy, elegant, beautifully structured, racy and offers a fine acidulous frame as well as a beautiful freshness. The effervescence is fine, dynamic and elegant. On the palate, this Champagne expresses notes of raspberry sorbet, juicy / ripe redcurrants and small notes of lemon associated with touches of lime, peach flowers as well as an imperceptible hint of apple (in the background). Good length. Presence of an imperceptible hint of almond on the aftertaste. A beautiful rosé Champagne !

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers power as well as a vinous side. It reveals notes of cherry, strawberry and small notes of lychee associated with small touches of crushed pear as well as hints of sour cherry candy. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness as well as freshness. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of fresh / juicy strawberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of juicy pear associated with a touch of zest as well as fine hints of lemon blossom, zest and an imperceptible hint of brioche. Good length.

Champagne Jeaunaux-Robin – Rosé de Saignée – Brut Rosé

The nose is fresh and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of raspberry, raspberry leaf and small notes of cassis bud associated with small touches of citrus fruits, zest as well as fine hints of cloves and dried herbs. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced and a bit tight. The effervescence is fine. On the palate, this Champagne expresses notes of quince, raspberry leaf, cassis bud and small notes of fresh cassis associated with very fine hints of citrus fruits, zest and a hint of mesocarp. Good length. Presence of a very discreet hint of clove and cassis leaf on the persistence.

The nose is fresh, fruity, pure and offers elegance. It reveals notes of fresh / fleshy white peach, fresh / fleshy apple and small notes of lemon associated with fine touches of exotic fruits as well as a discreet hint of apricot blossoms. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension, a very fine vinous side, a good definition, roundness, gourmandize, elegance as well as a discreet aerial side. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of fresh / juicy raspberry, fleshy / juicy vine peach and small notes of crunchy / juicy apple associated with small touches of lemon as well as a discreet hint of kumquat, lychee, of pink and a subtle chalky hint. Good length.

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a fine suave sensation. It reveals notes of raspberry, crushed cherry and small notes of strawberry acidulous candy associated with a hint of violet and a discreet hint of crushed lychee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers gourmandize, suavity, fat, a fine acidulous frame, a racy minerality, a chalky edge as well as a fine tension. The effervescence is fine and dynamic. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of crushed raspberry, cherry acidulous candy, crushed strawberry and small notes of fresh cassis associated with a touch of apple blossoms, lychee as well as a discreet hint of lemon and a very discreet vinous hint. Good length.
