Only one of the fifteen WW2 armies I have is metal. I try to do everything in plastic. The new British/Canadian plastic infantry box has prompted me to build a whole company, with relevant attachments, HQ and support choices all in plastic. I like big forces, and to have options I tend to represent the correct equipment and squad/crew size. Oh, and I don’t like repetitive poses. Given each sprue only has six available poses which aren’t always dramatically different, can I build 120+ different models? Challenge accepted!
I use pieces from the full British range: 8th Army, desert Commonwealth troops, current Commandos, and Airborne set. Throw in parts from the other plastic sets and the combinations increase even further.
