With the Summer Wedding season in full swing, we kicked off our shoes and struck a perfect pose while chatting to LeSonne Forbes, The Kaalvoet Photographer, to find out more about her passion for photography!
Tell us a little more about yourself and why you started The Kaalvoet Photographer
While named LeSonne, I’m better known as ‘Die Kaalvoet Kind’ After growing up in the small coastal town of Mossel Bay, I eventually settled in Gauteng and my career in photography has now garnered me the label of‘Pretoria’s most loved photographer’ I specialise in portrait, wedding, corporate as well as boudoir photography and I have refined the art of telling compelling stories through my photography Even though I am an artist who specialises in black and white photography, I also incorporate colour to drive the point in my images.
The Kaalvoet Photographer was established in 2017.
