Has your rubber band bust, Mister? Vespa GTS service Pt2

Having followed the instructions in last month’s magazine you should have already changed the oil, fitted new filters and are now looking at your GTS with the air filter box open. If not, back issues are available….

Start by removing the three screws which hold the inside of the airbox to the engine and lift it clear of the casing. Don’t be afraid to use an impact screwdriver if the fasteners won’t come clear. It’s a better option than shredding the screw heads!

The next step is to slacken the clutch bell housing. Firstly remove the Vespa branded nut cover by popping it off with a small screwdriver in much the same way as you would a horn
