The art of… drinking a destination

As I began thinking about a lifetime of international imbibing, I was struck by how many of my travel memories are punctuated by a sip. Sometimes the drink produces the memorable moment, and sometimes a moment calls for a drink. A drink is a moment of pause, pleasure, indulgence and comfort. A moment of presence.
