Colour mixing for painting horses

Throughout our Queen Elizabeth’s reign, horses have been present as ceremonial assistants, companions, and sporting stars at the racecourse. The Queen is known for her love of horses and, in this article, I want to look at the horses that work in this role and demonstrate ways of painting them.

My advice when talking about painting and drawing is always to follow your interests whether landscape, portraiture, or steam engines. You will be prepared to work at what you love best. In my case, horses come high on my favourite subject list.
