I am looking for a superior lead-free 6.5mm bullet for my Schultz & Larsen (S&L) Victory rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, with which I take longer shots across moorland. Do you have any recommendations?
The 6.5mm bullet is a very aerodynamic projectile and has good ballistic coefficients compared with other bullets in the same weight category, hence its popularity, especially in 6.5 Creedmoor.
I have tested most of the 6.5mm bullets available in lead-free and in all the test rifles, especially the S&L with its cut-rifled barrel, the Barnes LRX 127-gr bullets have been superb.
