The most sought-after position at Seattle’s Station 19 Fire Department is that of the captain – and Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) would do anything to fill the role, even jeopardise his marriage with his colleague wife Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) in drama series Station 19. When season 5 begins, there’s a 10-month time lapse and (Danielle Savre) so that he could be appointed as captain. As a result, Herrera has moved out of their home, she’s couch hopping, and she is even considering to file for divorce. “In the first episode, Andy gives Sullivan the cold shoulder, so it’s difficult for him to explain his reasons for accepting the position,” says Boris, adding that it’s going to be a long and rocky road before Sullivan and Andy resolve their issues. “I’m sure that at some point, they’re going to express their feelings and make amends but it’s not going to be easy,” reveals the actor.
