e’s known for serving looks that would make ’s Moira weep, has designed costumes for the English National Opera and dressed the likes of Naomi Campbell and Boy George. And yet,’s Edward Enninful (the latter calling him “one of the few originals of his generation”) — has never exhibited his work in the UK. Naturally, he’s picked his charismatic hometown for his debut outing, bringing some queer magic to the UK’s current City of Culture. This free show — composed of 50 3D sculptures modelled on the artist (adorned in eccentric, elaborate ensembles, naturally) as well as select pieces from his 7,000-strong collection of curiosities — has already visited Poland, Iceland and the USA.
