Ranking among the best sources for biographical information about your ancestors, county, town and other local history books often reveal names, dates and places plus more interesting details such as occupations, religious affiliations, education and military service. They describe the growth of agriculture, industry and transportation in your ancestors’ community, giving you an insight into everyday life.
