Monochrome wave
lack-and-white films have popped up fairly regularly during what is the annual season for movies aiming at Oscar honours. French valentine to the silent era won five Academy Awards including Best in 2020 and and in 2018. This year’s awards season has seen a wave of B&W films from established directors and first-timers alike.
