Productivity gains will boost US

Worker productivity in the US was up 6.6% in the last quarter of 2021, according to the US Labour Department. This follows a 5.5% decline in the third quarter; nevertheless, it looks as though higher productivity “might be on the way”, says Justin Lahart. The US could do with a boost.
