FEELING OPTIMISTIC IN HER NEW ‘PLACE IN THE COUNTRY’ LAURA HAMILTON FINDING HAPPINESS AFTER HEARTACHE AS SHE EMBARKS ON A NEW ADVENTURE

After a busy week filming overseas, A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton is back in the UK, but she is certainly not putting her feet up.

As she welcomes us into the house she moved to only three weeks ago, there is scaffolding surrounding the Georgian property, which is undergoing a massive renovation. Already, though, it feels like home.

“Yes, one hundred per cent, when I walked through the door it felt like coming home,” she tells us. “I knew from the moment I first saw it. It has such a lovely feeling about it. I do feel like this is my little place in the country – there is even a lake at the bottom of the garden.”
