Overview
Future Synths can be used in the freely available IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 CS player, in which 16 sounds can be loaded simultaneously. In the title bar of the player, you can switch between the different screen pages like the Parts page, the Layer Editor and the Mixer. To the right of these icons you will find a small display. Click this to load one of the four included multi-instruments.
Editing in detail
The three icons above SampleTank page lets you change their level, tuning, and pan position, as well as filter settings and modulations. Tip: Be sure to experiment with the playback modes. By pitch-shifting or stretching, you can drastically change the basic sound. Tempo-synchronized modulations of the filter frequency or level can also be used to achieve wobble sounds or gate effects.
