Iremember growing up in hot rodding on the back of my dad’s Model A roadster pickup. There were a handful of guys who enjoyed traditional hot rodding of the 1940s and 1950s at the time. As I learnt more of the history, my appreciation for it all really diversified, from the 1930s — early days of hot rodding — right through to the 1980s. I have also been in the most fortunate position to meet, and, in some cases, become friends with some truly special people in the hobby both here and overseas.
