BLOSSOM & BLOOM

On city streets and in gardens and parks across the land, the joyful sight of blush-tinted blossom lifts the spirits in springtime. From March into April, fruit trees start to bloom, with apples, plums, pears and damsons bearing dainty white flowers tinged with pink, followed by the famous rosé pink petals of the cherry tree. The hawthorn, or May tree, closes the season with its distinctive creamy-white flowers.
