10 STEPS TO YOUR SPRING GARDEN

1 TIDY UP

Early spring is often when we embark on a declutter and clean of our homes, and the same applies to our gardens. We can begin laying the groundwork for a summer to be spent outdoors. A good place to start is by clearing up any debris or leaves that dropped after your autumn clean up. Peel off moss and dig out withered weeds or annual plants. Don’t discard the leaves, plants and small branches, though – they are great for topping up the compost bin or heap, which might be short on carbon-rich nutrients.
