A tale of Two Medals

While this article may not reach the readership of Charles Dickens’ famous novel, The Tale of Two Cities, but as a collector of military medals I soon realized that many of the best sub-collections of my medals appear in the form of “two medals.”

As I looked at the many medals duos in my collection, the expression “good things come in pairs” came to mind. Many displayed “like two peas in a pod.” It is hoped at the end of this story the reader will feel like they have seen “the best of both worlds.”

My obsession with the number “2” might have something to do with my being a twin and also having married a twin. Over the years I certainly have learned that “it takes two to tango.” This article will show a sampling
