MORGAN GILES 30
he Morgan Giles 30 came from the chief designer at Morgan Giles yachts, Kenneth Collyer, and was initially designed for his personal use. Francis Morgan Giles, who was still alive at the time, is reported to have said that ‘God made man so he could float on a piece of wood’. So, the first boat was built out of timber but with the inevitable transition to GRP, it was used as plug for the moulds.
