‘I can’t wait to be A GRANNY!’

‘Filming The Good Karma Hospital in Sri Lanka is so special, despite the mosquitoes!’

Amanda Redman’s only child, Emily, 34, got married in December. Yet she’s already desperate to become a grandmother.

‘I can’t wait!’ says Amanda, 64. ‘I’m trying to avoid putting pressure on her, but it’s on the tip of my tongue every time I speak to her. But I can’t do that. It will be lovely, though.’

Amanda admits that when actor Robert Glenister, 61, Amanda’s ex-husband – becomes a mother herself, it will help to make up for Amanda not being able to have any more children of her own. Amanda suffered nine miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies in her bid to have a baby with her husband Damian Schnabel, 50, a businessman.
