Of Form and Function

When building kits, a number of types of test equipment can be helpful in testing the finished kit. Common in many of the kits I have written about are different styles of audio filters that are useful in making both CW and SSB signals easier to copy in high noise or QRM environments. A function generator can be a helpful tool in determining the effectiveness of different audio filters as well as audio amplifier frequency response.
