1 HOW TO ADD PATTERN TO YOUR WALLS If you have high ceilings you might want to add pattern to the bottom half of your walls, leaving the top half white.

Choose a daring, exciting design as you are only papering part of the wall.

Work in thirds, so either paper one third up your wall or two. Using a pencil, spirit level and ruler, draw a horizontal plumb line from one side to the other.

Paper from the floor (or the top of the skirting boards) to the plumb line.
