A woman of many talents, Katrina Slack is most well known for her awestriking 3D sculptures of animals, which she makes using discarded materials and fishing gear. Each model is unique and seeks to bring attention to the plight of animals and the environment. Katrina’s paintings evoke a similar theme, ranging from dramatic seascapes to barren lands. We catch up with the artist to find out more about her motivations and her methods.
