Pulling out a chair, I placed the yummy omelette and soup on the table.
‘I love a brekkie buffet,’ I smiled to my mum, Vipuli.
‘Me too,’ she beamed.
It was April 2019, and we were in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for the last few days of our holiday. My parents moved my brother, Nesith, and me from there to Melbourne, Vic, when I was seven.
