After many years doing this job, I have worn many helmets and have plenty – full face, flip-up, jet, and open face. But Maria bought me this one as the design perfectly matches the paint scheme on the BMW! Bell is one of the oldest helmet manufacturers and the Custom 500 was made for years in the US with SNELL certification, before they made it conform to the European ECE standards more than 10 years ago now.
