SBD DAUNTLESS VS A6M ZERO-SEN

he ubiquitous Mitsubishi A6M Zero took on a variety of Allied fighters throughout the Pacific War, and several entries in Osprey’s “Duel” series have matched it up with such classic opponents as Curtiss P-40s, Grumman F4F, however, Donald Nijboer seems to have conceived something of a mismatch: a dive bomber whose primary mission was to seek out and sink enemy shipping encountering a carrier-based fighter whose purpose on such occasions was to prevent the Douglas SBD from doing so.
