Minor pentatonic scale
Scales! Music teachers are always banging on about how important they are, and with good reason too, as they’re the keys that unlock a vast number of musical mysteries. Yet that doesn’t mean that you have to learn all of them right off the bat – when you’re just starting out, there are some scales that are more useful than others, and one of the best ones to get to know at the outset is the pentatonic scale.
