It’s daunting giving art advice as someone who feels they’ve plenty yet to learn themselves. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients over my relatively short career in the illustration industry, but have been plagued with imposter syndrome. I’m sure this is a feeling you’re familiar with. That aside, I love what I do, although it can be challenging. I have to pinch myself every so often to be reminded that I get to do this as a job.
My art style has gone through many changes, some nuanced, some dramatic. What’s been consistent is my love of drawing characters and telling stories to convey a strong sense of mood and atmosphere.
