I’m to blame! The St George Motorcycle Club has a close relationship with the Australian Racing Drivers Club, who run Sydney Motorsport Park for the NSW Government. So we were closely involved with the multi-million-dollar LED lighting that celebrated the circuit’s 30th anniversary. It consists of 132 light towers with 864 individual fittings that cover the entire four-circuit layout. It seemed an obvious opportunity for a different type of motorcycle event.
