SEEING STARS
We were trying to decide on a location for our final trip of the year, but we didn’t want to go too far. So the chance to revisit some of the lovely Berkshire and Oxfordshire villages and towns that serve as locations in one of our favourite TV series, Midsomer Murders, was too good to pass up.
We chose to stay at Home Farm Camping and Caravan Park, at Radnage, near High Wycombe, so we decided to make High Wycombe our first stop of the trip.
This large town in the Wye Valley, Buckinghamshire, is surrounded by the Chiltern Hills. We parked in the Sainsbury’s car park (free for four hours if you’re a customer) where we did some shopping, before stopping at the Eden Centre for morning coffee. We then headed for the pedestrianised town centre and the Guildhall.
