Specific improvements nod to the diverse roles played by this size of tractor – from enhanced braking for fieldwork in tricky conditions by Claas to John Deere’s announcement of a model aimed at transport operations.
While stepless transmissions are broadly available across the sector, powershift boxes endure for the ‘workhorse’ jobs and have been updated by some manufacturers to be more versatile, particularly by improving road performance or the ease of brake-to-clutch functionality.
