Who Do You Think You Are?

CAN YOU HELP?

The history project ‘People’s Voices in a People’s War: Aberystwyth 1939–1945’) is looking for stories about the Second World War from the Aberystwyth area. The project began in May 2020 and is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and hosted at the Department of History and Welsh History at Aberystwyth University. It aims to research and collect people’s experiences and retell them through exhibitions, presentations, drama and music. Copies of family photographs, letters, mementos and memories will be preserved in the project archives, featured on its blog, and captured as oral history. If you can help, email Dr Sian Nicholas on .
