This is quite a contrast to the Rega and Triangle set-up (see p36). The most obvious difference at first glance is that there is no turntable, and that source duties are taken up by a pair of digital units – one ancient, one modern as far as digital players go. If 40-odd years can be counted as ‘ancient’, of course.

Once again we have taken advantage of some familial synergy with the Marantz CD player and amplifier duo complementing each other beautifully. And we have joined that fine pairing with Award winners from Bluesound and Wharfedale to complete a sophisticated set up that looks rather grown
