PREVENTING THOSE SANDY MISADVENTURES

Waking up on the beach after a night of beach camping offers you some of the most extraordinary sunrises in Australia. Setting up camp on the beach means setting up camp on sand and this type of camping requires certain accessories to make the whole thing successful — sand pegs.

These handy little pegs ensure your tent doesn’t go rolling down the beach, or your awning isn’t flapping in the wind like a kite. They give you that extra grip you need on the sand and come in a range of styles and lengths to suit the environment and your needs. Other than length, one of the main considerations with sand pegs is that you have the right ones for the environment you’re camping in, the right ones for what you’re holding down, how much tension they will be holding as well as for what you’re removing them from the ground with.
