Quadra
The latest plug-in from Cherry Audio is the first virtual replica of the legendary ARP Quadra. Its analog prototype from 1978 has four sections: Bass, lead, poly and strings. As you would expect from Cherry Audio, they have added many new features to this emulation, such as oscillator drift, additional waveforms and modulation options (including pulse width modulation) for the polyphonic synth, and a flexible arpeggiator for the lead synth. Although the bass synthesizer only has one oscillator, it manages to deliver a wide range of crisp, crunchy and powerful basses.
An important part of the ARP Quadra‘s sound is also its 14-stage phaser, which has also been meticulously recreated. Fortunately, the virtual Quadra was equipped with chorus/flanger, delay and reverb, which can be activated individually for the different sections. This allows for
