Despite there already being countless reverb plugins on the market, there are always new tools that specialize in a particular niche. The Swedish developer has released the effect plug-in Rum (Swedish for the word room), which acts less as a reverb effect and more as a room simulator. In Rum, ten different rooms, such as a hallway, bedroom, office, studio or kitchen, are available for selection; each offering up to six variations. On the one hand, the Mic control can be used to switch between two microphone positions; on the other hand, three room characters are simulated with character.
