ACQUIRING ITALIAN CITIZENSHIP BY DESCENT

Q Could you explain the rules of Italian citizenship if one has Italian ancestry? It would be helpful to know what the process involves. Thank you.

Italian citizenship by. To claim Italian citizenship by descent you need to prove that the right to claim Italian citizenship was transferred from your Italian ancestor to you in accordance with the Law of 15 February 1992.
