Fitted up
The first thing I ask Matt Davis when I meet him for a stock fit is, “Will having a stock made to measure make me a champion shot?” His short answer is “No”.
I felt a little deflated. Why go to all the expense of getting a stock made to measure if it won’t be a quick fix for my mediocre shooting? Matt explains: “Making sure your gun is fitted correctly will give you that extra edge – if you like, it’s the icing on the cake to help you get the best out of your shooting.”
