NIGHTMARE CREATURES

Indigenous beasts appear almost familiar yet impossibly alien; giraffe-like necks peel to reveal huge tongues, and great clamping molluscs hunt from beneath the sand. These are joined by the servants of the cylinder, Hieronymus Bosch-style hybrids of recognisably human parts and machinery. And what of the colossal snakes twisting down from the heavens? Theyâre all part of a hideously beautiful work.
