YOUR PRUNING MONTH

The cold January days may slowly be starting to get longer, but this change is still imperceptible. Pruning now can be really helpful for many garden plants. It’s the beginning of the rose pruning season, when we remove dead growth and reshape the shrub for the coming year.

January is also the prime time for wisteria pruning. In winter you should cut back the long stems to just a few buds from the main framework to encourage flowering in spring.
