    Scottish Green Party backs heritage lines

    THE Scottish Green Party has given its backing to heritage railways but is encouraging the sector to look for alternatives to burning coal.

    Party transport spokesman Mark enquiry, asking if the party’s stance had changed in the wake of the Glasgow COP26 climate conference’s condemnation of coal as one of the main causes of global warming.
