    A1 Tornado withdrawn from main line with wheel flats

    THE A1 Steam LocomotiveTrust’s Peppercorn A1 Pacific No. 60163 Tornado was withdrawn from traffic when a pre Fitness-To-Run examination revealed that sections of its tender and driving wheel tyres had worn down to below acceptable main line levels.
