Chancellor visits Locomotion to see site of new second building for himself

CHANCELLOR Rishi Sunak toured the Locomotion museum in Shildon to see where £20 million of Government investment will fund a second building to house its collection.

The grant will also deliver improvements so more locomotive movements can be made along the museum’s line, helping boost the venue’s visitor appeal, jobs, and the economy of the world’s oldest railway town.
