Leisure Painter

Welcome

ith winter well and truly here, what better time is there to settle in the warmth of your home or studio, pick up your favourite art materials and be creative? From wintery landscapes, flowers and – to aim for in the coming months (entry deadline, 7 April; see pages 12 and 13 for full details). Many thanks to all those who have already sent in their entries. As always, we are looking for artwork that shows originality, skill and something personal of the artist so please use the demonstrations and artwork you see within these pages as a jumping-off point to something you create out of your imagination or from your own reference material. Learn the techniques, gain the confidence then paint from your heart!
