Logging into my email inbox, I groaned. Since I’d last checked it the night before, I had 50 new messages.
As an executive assistant to the managing director of a gas and oil company, I also oversaw my boss’s inbox – he had 100 new messages that needed answering!
Sighing, I began my gruelling day in the corporate world.
For the next nine hours, I battled against time to complete my huge to-do list.
As well as managing my boss’s messages, I kept his diary, answered the phone and oversaw various projects.
Everyone wanted everything NOW – it was so stressful.
