THE coloured show cob (pictured, above and right) ended his 2021 season with a win, a second and two reserve championship titles at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS). After his visit to the NEC Red, who is ridden by show producer Victoria Hesford during the season, returned home to his owner Tracey Veale.

“He had a month out in the field and he’s now back in gentle work,” explained Tracey, who juggles Red around her job at a care home. “I hack him about three to four times per week, and usually head out with my friend.
